Terms

  • Booking

    A 15% deposit is required for all bookings and the balance is due 14 days prior to your arrival. Any deposits are No Refundable but can be transferred to alternative dates within one year of original booking. Any cancellations need to be made via Email and if cancelation is made with 14 days 50% of balance is refundable During Last 2 weeks of July and all of August if property can not be rented then full loss of balance paid is non refundable.

    A refundable deposit of 20 euros is required for pool swipe cards. Payable locally.

    Early check-in and late check-out is subject to other bookings arriving to the apartment you are occupying, if you have to vacate your apartment by 10:30am we will provide a courtesy room if possible. If you have a very late departure it is recommended that you pay for and extra night so you are able to stay until it is time to leave.

    Maid service and fresh towels are provided once per week with a change of bed linens once per week, for clients staying for more than 7 nights.

    Apartments

    Our apartments within the Old Village are privately owned and vary in decor and fittings, but all have the following utilities washing machines, microwave's, iron and ironing board, cable TV, heating. Some have air conditioning so if this is a requirement please confirm before booking that the apartment you have has this installed.

    Apartment Rental Deposits

    Deposits are to be paid within 14 days after booking accommodation, on booking you will be informed of the deposit due and all payment details. This deposit is non-refundable so please make sure you have arranged flights and taken out any holiday insurance to cover post deposits.

    Golf Booking

    After we receive your golf booking form you will receive confirmation and full cost of golf booked, along with full payment details. We will at the same time contact all courses you wish booked and request tee times as requested by you, confirmation from the courses will take up to 14 working days. (Except Quinta do Largo and Vale do Lobo, where confirmation of booking is given within 7 days and the times are only confirmed 14 days before first tee time).

    Bookings of more than 4 players will be made up into 4 balls as far as possible, for example (with 7 players as follows 1 x 4 ball, the remaining 3 may have to have another person playing from another group or a single player either of these options can be selected by the golf course in question. Single players will be matched to any group by the golf course, normally a single player will have to wait until the last moment as the course will fill in gaps to suit. Single players are therefore reminded that they may not know the exact time until just before they arrive.

    Payment has to be received from you for us to be able to guarantee your golf booking, full payment has to be made to us on confirmation of first tee time. If any golf is booked within a 40 day period before first tee time full payment has to be made before we can confirm the times with the golf courses. Payment can be made in the following ways, Sterling Cheque, only if cheque is sent more than 60 days before first tee time, Bank transfer or credit card please note that a surcharge of 5% is made for credit card transactions. If payment is not received by the due date All Times Will Be Cancelled. Persons booking golf often inquire why we ask for payment in advance, this is so we are able to pass on discounts and guarantee times to you. For us to do this we have to guarantee all payments to the respective courses.

    It is also your responsibility to bring current handicap certificates which are now required on most courses.

    Changing Bookings.

    Once a golf booking is confirmed by us to you, any change that is made by you will carry the following alteration fees to cover administration costs: 1 to 4 Persons £5.00 (Five Pounds Sterling) per Person. 5 to 8 Persons £3.00 (Three Pounds Sterling) per Person. 9 and Over £2.00 (Two Pounds Sterling) per Person.

    Cancellations.

    For all golf bookings up to 60 days before first tee time we will refund all costs. For all golf bookings up to 30 days before first tee time we will refund all costs less 10% Service Charge. For all golf bookings within 35 days No Refunds Can Be Made. We recommend that any person booking golf take out the respective insurance cover to cover any eventuality, this insurance can be arrange through your Travel Agent or Tour Operator.

    We nor any golf club will give refunds for NO SHOWS, this will also include improper dress, no handicap certificates (where necessary) or you are otherwise incapable of playing.

     

    Car Hire

    The hirer of the rental vehicle will be requested to sign a contractual agreement with the car hire company on arrival in Portugal. The hirer will agree to abide by the terms and conditions of the local car hire company as set out and governed by local laws and the signing of this agreement will confirm that the contract lies directly with the local car hire company. UK agents only act as UK agents to the car hire company in the Algarve, it does not accept any responsibility for loss, damage, delay, cancellation, injury or any additional circumstances/expenses suffered by the hirer whatsoever.
